I'm sure we all read a lot about new features, advanced techniques and all sorts of different use cases. Many conference sessions address similar topics, but most often I found that returning to basics was most interesting and useful to me.That is why I compiled a short list of features, which might be considered as basic, but developer are often struggling with them. This session will show how to make a couple of functionalities, step-by-step:1) Dynamically generate APEX URL2) Catch Modal Page Close Event3) Interactive Report settings and considerations4) Where to store JavaScript5) Call AJAX processing from JavaScriptAny developer attending this session should afterwards be able to recognize and implement similar features with more confidence and productivity.

Daniel Huha is a Software Consultant, working for BiLog d.o.o. in Zagreb. He's focused on Oracle APEX solutions, with the experience acquired through eight years of working on small and large applications, in domestic and foreign projects (Orbico, Croatia Insurance, Allianz Russia, Allianz Zagreb, Unicredit BiH). By finishing the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin, he acquired the title of Master of Informatics. While working in BiLog, he acquired the PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional certificate. Along with Oracle development and education, his interests lie in modern Web technologies and trends
